WW2 Womens Voluntary Service WVS home front armband

A very good example of an original Wartime 'WVS armband', green cotton band with stitched edge, stencilled red "W.V.S." letters surmounted by a King's Crown, the reverse with linen lining and fastened by two elasticated strips, the elastication now a little perished otherwise in very good condition.
