An interesting Second World War period 'RAF No 25 Elementary Flying Training School' two part crudely made silver coloured sports medal, with Latin motto "Nobis Cura Futuri" (Our concern is the future), the reverve impressed "4th Anniversary Station Sports 1st Javelin C.E. Bock 1944". Good condition.

RAF No. 25 Elementary Flying Training School Royal Air Force Belvedere, Salisbury, Southern Rhodesia opened in 1940 and was part of the 'Empire Air Training Scheme' trainees came mainly from Great Britain but also from Australia, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand, USA, Yugoslavia, Greece, France, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Kenya, Uganda, Tanganyika, Fiji and Malta.
