RAF No 610 County of Chester Squadron badge c1940s

A scarce original period gilt and enamel badge, with Latin motto "Alifero Tollitur Axe Ceres" (Ceres rises in a Winged Car). Good condition, original buttonhole fittings, no damage to the enamel.
