RAF Station Acklington Royal Air Force badge c1950s

A good original period gilt and enamel badge, with Latin motto "Heri Docendum Hodie Implendum", the reverse with maker's details "H.W.Miller Ltd B'Ham.18". Very good condition, original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.
Height 34mm.
Airfield closed in 1972 and Her Majesty's Prison Castington was built on the site.
