A good original vintage 'Transport & General Workers Union lapel badge', circular gilded brass blue enamel title surround 'TGW' cypher to the centre, with additional 'Committee' scroll below; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Toye & Co Ltd London'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, minor enamel defect to central cypher.
An original rare surviving Transport And General Workers Union gold medal in presentation case, the reverse bearing Birmingham 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1965, maker's detals 'F&S' (Fattorini & Sons) with the inscription 'Presented To Bro: W.V.Watts No. 5/181 Branch In Appreciation Of His Loyal And Devoted Service To The Union. 1913 - 1966.' Excellent condition, complete with 9ct gold suspensiion bar with original pin fittings and silk maroon ribbon.

A scarce original pre-war period 'Industrial Transport Association member's badge'; small ornate gilded brass example, depicting the "ITA' shield logo between two Globes, inlaid with red,white and blue enamel; the reverse impressed with registration numbers "REG No 742864" a design and patent year of late 1928 early 1929. Very good condition, retaining original buttonhole lapel fitting, enamel intact, gilt finish remains bright.
