A very scarce original circa 1920's period 'The Girls Brigade Ireland medal' in the form of a bronze 'Vector Celtic Cross' inscribed "Onward & Upward" "The Girls Brigade"; the reverse impressed with Dublin maker's details "H&H" (Hopkins & Hopkins). Very good condition, complete with additional green silk ribbon.
