A scarce original 1988 issue special promotions 'Robertson's Golly Lifeboatman badge', the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Fattorini'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings and manufacturers plastic box, certificate now absent.

In 1988 Robertson's and the Royal National Lifeboat Institution together produced a limited edition of 25,000 Golly Lifeboatman badges, complete with certificate each with an individual number and plastic presentation case. From each brooch sold 15p was donated to the RNLI charity.
