A scarce original vintage period 'HMV soft tone needle case' the embossed alloy lid depicting the 'H.M.V.' trademark logo 'Nipper' the fox terrier dog; accompanied with a quantity of needles and original retailer's inset card inscribed 'John S. Luckman & Co., His Masters Voice Instruments, Records and Accessories. Hertford Street Coventry'. Good condition, minor service wear, corrosion to a few of the needles. Size 57 x 36mm.

A scarce original circa 1950's record company 'Electric and Musical Industries Ltd salesman's promotional lapel badge'; silver plated circular example displaying the very deco 'EMI' trademark logo on black enamel ground; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Fattorini & Sons Ld Bradford Works Birmingham' (a pattern used between 1945 - 1954). Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, enamel perfect, an excellent example. Diameter 21mm.

A very scarce original circa 1940's vintage record company 'His Master's Voice Accredited Dealer salesman' advertising lapel badge'; large silver plated shield inlaid with red and blue enamelling, depicting 'H.M.V.' trademark logo 'Nipper' the fox terrier dog, listening to a Gramophone. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, enamel perfect. Height 29mm.

A scarce original wartime period 'His Master's Voice Gramophone Company war service badge'; gilded brass circular example inlaid with patriotic red, white and blue enamelling, the centre with 'H.M.V. 1940' and bearing a 'V' for victory sign; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent Street Birmingham' and official issue number '2581'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, no damage to the enamel, very minor surface scratches. Diameter 24mm. The Gramophone Company (HMV) was situated in Hayes, Middlesex, the factory turned to the production of munitions during the Second World War also radio equipment for the government. The site was bombed on 7 July 1944 killing 37 employees.
