A very scarce original circa 1940's period 'Lincolnshire Artistes' Federation LAF gilt and enamel badge', the reverse impressed with early maker's details 'Fattorini & Sons Ld, Bradford Works Birmingham' believed to be a mark used between 1945 and 1954. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.

Forces Entertainments Northern Command Area No.26', in the form of a large circular gilt brass badge inlaid with blue enamel and inscribed title, the reverse personalised with hand scratched name and address: 'J.Cook 20 South Park Lincoln'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.

A scarce original circa 1940's period 'Voluntary Entertainment Service badge', in the form of a chromium plated yorkshire rose inlaid with white enamel, the initial 'VES' to top three petals and 'Northern Command' title below, the reverse impressed with official issue number '2294' and maker's details 'Fattorini Bradford'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel perfect. An excellent example.

A very scarce original short period only 1939 to 1946 'Entertainments National Service Association cap badge'; designed by 'Sir Edwin Lutyens PRA' in the form of a silver plated brass stylized inverted triangle with emphasized central initial 'E' within circle and NSA to arms, originally surmounted by an additional 'A' to the top, but now adapted and removed probably at the time, the reverse retaining original horseshoe fitting. Good condition, silver plating worn almost back to base.
Height 25mm.

ENSA formed in 1939, disbanded in June 1946.

A scarce original wartime issue 'British Broadcasting Corporation lapel pin' worn as a form of identity and to fulfill the role of a National Service badge; nickel silver example displaying the company's logo with 'BBC' cypher to the centre on blue enamel ground, the reverse with maker's details 'H.W.Miller Ltd. B'Ham.18". Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel perfect.
