A scarce original circa wartime period 'War Emergency Police lapel badge'; Crowned gilt circlet inlaid with red enamel, the centre bearing the ancient 'Triskele' symbol, with abbreviated letter title below 'W.E.P'; the reverse impressed with unusual maker's details 'C.Wallace Douglas'. Good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, no damage to the enamel but with surface abrasion.
